Moments - Positives
Shawn Michaels defying the odds and winning the Royal Rumble for the second time in a row was an excellent moment in WWF history. The rumble event also included the debut of Stone Cold Steve Austin as the Ringmaster - a landmark in WWF history. The World title match was also excellent and the Goldust/Ramon match was great entertainment thanks to the bizarre but brilliant feud. Diesel interfering in Taker's match to set up Wrestlemania 12 was also brilliantly carried out.
Moments - Negatives
I am finding it hard to see any negatives. The tag team title match could have been better but was kept pretty short.
Overall Summary
This show did not have the greatest matches but was solid throughout and I thought it was actually brilliant. An excellent start to the 1996 year and continued the growth of the WWF and the New Generation. All of the matches were quick, entertaining and the feuds told great stories thanks to the increased PPV schedule of 1995. A must see Rumble in my opinion.
