Moments - Positives
This PPV was advertised as an end of an era and to some extent in truly was. This was the end of the McMahon/Austin feud as we knew it to date. The main event was an end of an era match up during which McMahons on screen career was on the line against Austin's World Title career. If Undertaker won, Austin coould never be World Champion and if Austin won it, McMahon could not be involved on -screen ever again. It was a great feud and a great match worthy of a main event slot. HHH/Rock was also a solid match for the main event of Summerslam on the line and surprisingly HHH did it. His push in full throttle.

Moments - Negatives
The Road Dogg/Ass feud was getting boring and I thought their match was pretty dull with X-pac and Chyna. Also the Shamrock/Blackman match was great in theory and feud but actually turned out to be pretty dissapointing. No other major negaitves at this event.

Overall
A solid card with a great main event which told a very good story and finally ended the McMahon/Austin feud which really has been raging on since the 1998 Royal Rumble. You cannot deny it was a hell of a story for all those months. Triple H was also coming through as a clear major player in the WWF after defeating the Rock. His push was needed to add a bit of fresh depth to the World Title picture and this PPV was really when Triple H became "The Game". Great show.

SCORE = 8.0
