Marc Mero defeated Hunter Hearst Helmsley {WWF Intercontinental Title} (6/10)
Marc Mero defeated Hunter Hearst Helmsley {WWF Intercontinental Title} (6/10)
The Undertaker defeated The Executioner {Armageddon Rules Match} (8/10)
Sycho Sid defeated Bret Hart {WWF World Heavyweight Title} (8/10)
Moments - Positives
The triangular feud between Bret Hart, Sid and Shawn Michaels was brilliantly built up during this pay per view and truly made the main event. By this time, Bret Hart was almost a "tweener" and it was very interesting watching where this character was going. Especially as Stone Cold was becoming such a huge star in the WWF. Undertaker/Executioner was also a classic with Mankind getting involved all the way through and some great backstage brawling.
Moments - Negatives
Some rather average opening matches which did not help. Once again the Diesel/Razor Ramon characters brought down a perfectly good Tag Team title match and I just do not understand why and where the WWF were going with this.
Overall Summary
Not a bad card overall made by two key matches. The In Your House PPV events came along way during the 1996 year and there were some fantastic matches during the year which highlighted WWF's key strategy was to try new stipulations and introduce new superstars. This PPV was ok but it didnt show off the strides taken by the WWF during the year!
SCORE = 7.0
