Moments - Positives

This was one of the best Royal Rumbles of all time. The classic storyline of Austin defying the odds, McMahon putting him into an ambulance and him returning to nearly mark a record third win only to be stopped by McMahons cunning. It also includes the first 10/10 match in a long time as Rock battles Mankind in an I Quit match. This was one of my favourite Mick Foley matches of all time and it was excellent. Check it out. The rest of the card although average on paper was surprisingly solid too.

Moments - Negatives

Very few negatives. The X-pac / Gangrel match was probably the weakest thing on the card but it really wasnt bad at all.

Overall

This was one of the best Rumbles. fact. It also includes a 10/10 match which automatically gives it a good score and you must check it out. The Austin/McMahon feud was really at an all time high here and McMahon winning the Rumble was almost unprecedented in the world of wrestling. Fantastic.
