Moments - Positives
There were three outstanding matches at this PPV event which truly made the whole show worth watching. Firstly, the end of the feud and Jarrett's career in the WWF can be seen in a classic Good Housekeeping match which was also one of the best Jarrett matches in my opinion. We also have our first Hardys v Edge/Christian match involving ladders and you can really see that these guys paved the way for future tag team matches. Finally, in what is probably my favourite Austin/Triple H match, the classic feud between the two from Summerslam comes to an "end" in a No DQ match. Also check out the feud leading up to this and HHH's rattlesnake bite - one of my favourite moments ever!
Moments - Negatives
The Hardyz were known as "The New Brood" with Gangrel - I get that they needed identity and to get over but really? Also Some poor matches such as the opener and the Women's title match! Val Venis receiving a push may not have been a bad thing but the build up to his character was terrible and didnt work!
Overall
A show which stands out due to three great matches! Some classic moments here and some great feuds coming to boiling point at the event. Its really one of the better WWF PPVs of 1999.
