Moments - Positives
This show will always be remembered by the great KOTR win by Kurt Angle. Angle was taking WWF by storm during this stage in the WWF. It was great to see a show centred around Angle who clearly was becoming a huge star. The Rock regaining his World title was also a great moment especially as he pinned Vince McMahon to win it. Finally, a cracking handicap dumpster match and WWF tag team titles match help the PPV stand out.
Moments - Negatives
The Pat Patterson/Brisco story was funny but took way too much spots in this event and the match itself was just a joke. Unecessary. I also didnt believe Rikishi deserved to get to the KOTR final and I would have much rather seen someone like Benoit get to the final. The format of the main event, although good in theory and had a very good ending, didnt work as a main event and it made the show seem a little bit inferior (it was a main event worthy of Raw Is War).
Overall
A few great matches and new Champions make this show a memorable one. Having said that, a combination of incorrect pushes and some poor booking taking over too much tv time meant that somehow the show didnt quite live up to expectations. There are certainly much better events in 2000!
SCORE = 7.0
