Moments - Positives
The actual Royal Rumble match up was probably my favourite Royal Rumble match of all time. There were some great moments in the match and it was excellent to see The Rock, Austin and Kane as the last three. It also included some blasts from the past like the Honkey Tonk Man and the return of the Big Show. There was also a great ongoing storyline between HHH and Austin which ended up costing Triple H the world title match. Again, great exciting stories being told throughout the event. Finally, probably my favourite Benoit/Jericho match of all time and possibly my favourite Benoit match full stop. This Ladder match is up there as one of the greats - it has great spots and tells a great story!

No negatives in my opinion. Everything from the storylines and their development to the matches delivered.
Overall
An excellent event and one of the best pay-per-views that the WWF has ever done, certainly the best Royal Rumble PPV in my opinion. So close to a 10 and yet I wont give it a ten because I feel like the Royal Rumble can never be a 10 given that over an hour of the show is taken up by the over the top rope Rumble match. Still comes very close...
